Job Description:
Caia Nursery is seeking a passionate and skilled Nursery Teacher to join our team in Qatar. As a Nursery Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe, engaging, and educational environment for young children, helping them develop social, emotional, and cognitive skills. You will design and implement creative lesson plans, promote positive behavior, and encourage learning through play. The role requires a nurturing individual who enjoys working with young children and has a deep understanding of early childhood education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver age-appropriate lesson plans to support the overall development of children aged 2-5 years.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to learn, play, and grow.
- Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through various activities such as arts, crafts, games, music, and outdoor play.
- Monitor and assess the development of each child and provide regular feedback to parents and caregivers.
- Encourage positive behavior and manage classroom activities with patience and care.
- Communicate effectively with parents, keeping them informed of their child’s progress, achievements, and any concerns.
- Ensure that children’s needs are met in terms of care, nutrition, and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s activities, progress, and developmental milestones.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a cohesive, supportive environment for children.
- Promote the values of the nursery and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work culture.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations, ensuring the well-being of the children at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or preschool setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education theories, teaching methods, and child development.
- Passion for teaching and working with young children, with a caring and nurturing approach.
- Ability to create engaging, interactive, and fun lesson plans.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Patience, creativity, and flexibility to adapt to children’s needs and interests.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid health and police clearance to work with children.
