Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Take vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Help patients with feeding, and provide assistance with eating and drinking when necessary.
- Support nurses and doctors during medical procedures, including positioning patients and handling medical equipment.
- Monitor patient conditions and report any changes in health status to the nurse or doctor immediately.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, ensuring proper infection control measures are followed.
- Assist in transferring patients to and from beds, wheelchairs, or stretchers.
- Record patient data and progress, and keep accurate patient records.
- Ensure emotional support for patients and their families.
- Provide administrative support, including organizing patient files and assisting with scheduling appointments.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a nursing assistant certification (CNA) or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience as a nursing assistant or in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare terminology and medical procedures.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves standing, walking, and assisting patients with mobility.
