As a Psychologist at SG Enable Ltd., you will provide psychological support and services to individuals with disabilities, helping them navigate their challenges and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for individuals with disabilities to identify their psychological and emotional needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address behavioral, emotional, or cognitive issues.
  • Provide counseling and psychotherapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
  • Support families and caregivers by providing guidance on managing psychological and emotional challenges related to disability.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and community organizations to provide holistic support for individuals.
  • Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Conduct group therapy sessions or workshops on topics related to mental health, coping strategies, and well-being.
  • Contribute to research, training, and development programs aimed at improving mental health services for individuals with disabilities.
  • Participate in case discussions and care planning meetings to ensure comprehensive service delivery.

Qualifications:

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology (Clinical, Counseling, or a related field).
  • Registration with the Singapore Psychological Society (SPS) or Singapore Ministry of Health (MOH) is preferred.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly in a clinical or therapeutic setting, is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to working with individuals facing mental health or cognitive challenges.
  • Knowledge of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, or play therapy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
