Job Description:
We are currently hiring a Restaurant Server for one of our prestigious clients in Qatar. As a Restaurant Server, you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing them with outstanding service and ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. Your primary responsibilities will include taking customer orders, serving food and drinks, and addressing any questions or special requests. The ideal candidate will be friendly, efficient, and have a strong customer service orientation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they arrive at the restaurant and escort them to their tables.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Take food and drink orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that customers are satisfied with their meals and service and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Keep tables clean, set, and organized for new guests.
- Assist in the setup and cleanup of the dining area before and after meals.
- Process payments and handle customer transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a pleasant and positive dining experience for all guests.
- Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to the restaurant’s grooming standards.
- Work as part of a team with other servers and restaurant staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Follow restaurant policies and health and safety regulations to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Server or in a similar customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on creating a positive dining experience.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus, and the ability to make recommendations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Professional appearance and grooming standards.
- A positive attitude, team spirit, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to speak English fluently; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Must be physically able to carry trays and stand for extended periods.
