Key Responsibilities:
- Guide Safari Tours: Lead groups of visitors through exciting safari experiences in the Arctic wilderness, showcasing the beauty and wildlife of the region.
- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Ensure all guests have a memorable and enjoyable experience by offering knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging interactions throughout the tour.
- Educate Guests: Share interesting facts about Arctic wildlife, nature, and cultural traditions of Finland with guests.
- Safety First: Prioritize the safety and well-being of guests during all tours and activities.
- Assist in Other Park Activities: Depending on the season, assist in various roles within SantaPark, including helping with events, guest services, and other outdoor adventures.
- Multilingual Communication: Use your language skills to communicate effectively with international visitors, enhancing their experience.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in guiding tours or working in a customer-facing role (preferred).
- Passion for nature, wildlife, and sharing knowledge with others.
- Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions typical of the Arctic environment.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to live and work in Rovaniemi, Finland, for the duration of the seasonal contract.
