Job Overview:
As a Safety Coordinator at ONCOD PTE. LTD., you will be responsible for ensuring that all workplace safety and health (WSH) procedures are effectively implemented and adhered to across our construction projects. Your role will involve conducting safety inspections, identifying non-compliance issues, and fostering a culture of safety among all employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety Inspections: Conduct regular safety checks to identify and rectify cases of non-compliance with WSH regulations.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate tools, machinery, and processes to ensure they meet safety standards and implement necessary control measures.
- Training: Organize and conduct in-house safety induction and WSH training sessions for the workforce to promote awareness and compliance.
- Accident Investigation: Investigate onsite accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, and compliance reports to ensure proper documentation and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Education: A diploma or degree in Workplace Safety and Health, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certification: WSH Coordinator certification recognized by the Ministry of Manpower in Singapore.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a safety coordinator role within the construction industry.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of WSH regulations and best practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
