LHW Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking a reliable and vigilant Security Guard to join their team and ensure the safety and security of the company’s construction sites and premises. Security Guard jobs in Singapore, The Security Guard will be responsible for monitoring access points, conducting regular site patrols, and ensuring that all security measures are in place to protect the property, assets, and personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control access to the construction site, ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, or any unauthorized activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following company procedures.
- Report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a detailed log of daily activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
- Assist in the enforcement of site safety policies and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Monitor CCTV systems and other security equipment, ensuring they are functioning properly.
- Provide assistance to visitors or employees when required, offering directions or other general information.
- Assist with emergency evacuations if required, ensuring the safety of personnel and visitors.
- Collaborate with the construction site management team to ensure overall site safety and security.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a security guard or in a similar role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of security protocols and safety regulations.
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus in a demanding environment.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact with personnel and visitors professionally.
- Physical fitness to conduct regular site patrols and respond to emergency situations.
- Security certification or training would be an advantage.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends as needed.
