As a Senior Accountant at Resource Industries, you’ll play an integral role in delivering accurate financial management and oversight. Key Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile general ledger entries, accounts payable & receivable, and monthly close processes.
• Prepare interim and year-end financial statements and reports in line with accounting regulations and organisational standards.
• Ensure VAT and corporate tax compliance, along with timely submissions of relevant filings.
• Coordinate internal and external audit processes and support inquiries from financial stakeholders.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to guide operational decisions.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls and best accounting practices.
• Support strategic initiatives with financial insights, including cost tracking, variance analysis, and reporting efficiencies.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably in manufacturing, logistics, defence, or industrial sectors.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and strong MS Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of UAE VAT laws, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, attention-to-detail, and organisational capabilities.
• Solid communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
• Experience working within UAE-based organisations or multinational companies is preferred.
