Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Ensure efficient and accurate management of stock, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
- Stock Control: Regularly monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or excess inventory, and ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Stock Audits: Conduct regular stock audits and ensure that the physical stock matches the inventory records.
- Shipping and Receiving: Oversee the inbound and outbound shipments of goods, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company procedures.Quality Control: Inspect incoming stock to verify quality and quantity, and handle any discrepancies according to company policies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock movements and transactions, using inventory management software to track and report data.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of materials for ongoing projects.
- Safety Standards: Ensure that the stock room or warehouse area is organized, safe, and complies with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (relevant certifications in warehouse management or logistics are a plus).
- Previous experience in stock keeping, warehouse operations, or inventory management (preferred).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage stock discrepancies.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Fluency in English (knowledge of Finnish is a plus).
