Job Description:
We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our kitchen team at The Bank Restaurant & Bar. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards following our menu guidelines
- Ensure consistency in presentation and taste across all dishes
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with UK regulations
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen brigade to ensure smooth service
- Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a chef in a similar environment
- Culinary qualification or equivalent experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen
- Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
- Creativity and passion for food presentation
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
