Riyadh Doha Farm is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Veterinary Laboratory Technician to join their team in Qatar. Veterinary Laboratory Technician jobs in Qatar, The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, analyzing animal health samples, and supporting veterinary professionals in diagnosing and preventing diseases in livestock and farm animals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests on animal blood, urine, feces, and tissue samples.
- Conduct microbiological, biochemical, and hematological analyses.
- Assist veterinarians in diagnosing diseases and monitoring animal health.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate test results.
- Prepare reports and document findings for veterinary review.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols in the laboratory.
- Handle and store biological samples safely and properly.
- Support research and development projects related to animal health and nutrition.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Technology, Animal Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in a veterinary or animal health laboratory.
- Knowledge of laboratory techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Experience in microbiology, hematology, and biochemistry testing for animals.
- Ability to work with farm animals and handle biological samples.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Familiarity with Qatar’s veterinary regulations and farm management is a plus.
