Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding operations on various metal components, ensuring high-quality workmanship in line with industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welding Operations: Perform welding tasks using methods such as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG), Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), and Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW) on structural steel and piping components.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all welding work meets quality standards and project specifications, conducting inspections and tests as necessary.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain welding equipment in good working condition, performing routine checks and maintenance.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Welder, with proficiency in GTAW/TIG, SMAW, and FCAW welding processes.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings; skilled in using welding equipment and tools.
- Certifications: Relevant welding certifications are preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various positions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on quality and precision in welding tasks.
