Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Driving: Operate light vehicles safely and efficiently to transport packages to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Timely Deliveries: Ensure that all deliveries are completed on time, following the assigned routes and schedules. Communicate any delays or issues promptly to the dispatch team.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the assigned vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Report any mechanical issues or damage immediately.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers professionally and courteously during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience. Handle customer inquiries or concerns with efficiency and care.
- Documentation: Accurately record delivery information, including signatures, delivery times, and any special instructions. Maintain organized records of all deliveries.
- Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to company safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid UAE driving license for light vehicles.
- Proven experience as a light vehicle driver, preferably in a delivery or logistics role.
- Strong knowledge of UAE roadways and traffic regulations.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to handle packages of various sizes and weights.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
