Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Controller to join our dynamic team. The Logistics Controller will be responsible for overseeing and managing the logistics operations to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of goods and services. This role involves coordinating with various departments, optimizing logistics processes, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Management: Coordinate and manage the day-to-day logistics operations, including the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods. Ensure all logistics activities are carried out efficiently and in compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to ensure the availability of products. Implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock levels.
- Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders to streamline the supply chain process. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials and products.
- Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Prepare reports and provide insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control logistics costs to stay within budget. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective cost management strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of logistics and supply chain regulations.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any logistics-related issues or disruptions. Implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve logistics processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Experience in the aviation or transportation industry is preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in logistics software and systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
