Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons aligned with the SABIS® curriculum and educational standards.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through various methods, including tests, quizzes, assignments, and class participation.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth and development.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school administration to support student success and address any academic or behavioral concerns.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices and advancements in mathematics education.
- Prepare students for standardized tests and other assessments as required by the school and educational authorities.
- Ensure a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes respect and positive behavior.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or license in mathematics is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Mathematics Teacher or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver instruction that meets the needs of diverse learners.
- Proficiency in using technology and educational software to enhance teaching and learning.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Valid UAE residence visa is a plus but not mandatory as visa sponsorship is available.
