Job Description:
As a Nurse at Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital Center (CHNP), you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients with neuro-psychiatric disorders. - Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements
Your responsibilities may include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical, mental, and emotional health
- Developing individualized care plans based on patients’ needs, preferences, and treatment goals
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, following established protocols and guidelines
- Monitoring patients’ condition and response to treatment, and adjusting care plans accordingly
- Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding their condition, treatment options, and self-care techniques
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, psychologists, and social workers, to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of care
- Documenting patient care activities, observations, and treatment outcomes accurately and timely
- Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff, following infection control protocols and safety guidelines
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives, research projects, and staff development activities to enhance nursing practice and patient care
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure or equivalent certification required
- Previous experience in psychiatric nursing or mental health care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluency in English; knowledge of French, German, or other languages spoken in Luxembourg is a plus
