JUYI Restaurant & Lounge is seeking a positioned and inviting Restaurant Hostess to join our group in Dubai. The Restaurant Person hosting will be liable for supplying phenomenal customer support to our visitors, managing bookings, and ensuring a smooth flow of guests in the eating location. Key Responsibilities
- Guest Reception: Warmly greet guests as they arrive, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
- Reservation Management: Handle restaurant reservations via phone, email, and in-person inquiries. Maintain an organized reservation book and seating chart.
- Seating Arrangements: Seat guests according to their preferences, group size, and the restaurant’s seating plan.
- Guest Assistance: Provide assistance to guests by answering questions about the menu, making recommendations, and addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Communication: Liaise with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth coordination and efficient service.
- Maintaining Ambiance: Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness, lighting, and temperature are conducive to a pleasant dining experience.
- Upselling: Promote special menu items, beverages, and promotions to guests to enhance their dining experience and increase revenue.
- Hospitality: Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times, reflecting the high standards of hospitality upheld by JUYI Restaurant & Lounge.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a hostess or in a customer service role, preferably in a restaurant setting, is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
- Appearance: Presentable and polished appearance consistent with the upscale atmosphere of the restaurant.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly Arabic, is an advantage.
- Visa: Willingness to relocate to Dubai, UAE, with visa sponsorship provided by JUYI Restaurant & Lounge.
