We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher to join our team at Jad’s Inclusion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique needs of each student. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
Adapt and modify curriculum and teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student.
Assess students’ abilities and progress, providing regular feedback and reports to parents and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, counselors, and other educators, to support student development.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and participation.
Utilize various teaching techniques and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Foster a supportive and respectful atmosphere that promotes the social and emotional well-being of students.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child’s progress and address any concerns.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, IEPs, and other relevant documentation.
Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in special education.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Valid teaching certification with a specialization in special education.
Proven experience as an SEN Teacher or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of special educational needs and disabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children with special needs.
Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive teaching methods.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in special education.
