Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers with their inquiries, providing a friendly and helpful shopping experience.
- Offer knowledgeable advice about products and services, helping customers find what they need.
- Handle customer complaints and issues professionally, escalating to the Store Manager when necessary.
Checkout Operations:
- Operate cash registers efficiently, processing transactions accurately and swiftly.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and vouchers with care.
- Ensure a speedy and pleasant checkout experience, reducing wait times for customers.
Merchandising and Stock Management:
- Replenish stock on shelves, ensuring products are displayed neatly and correctly.
- Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Assist with the organization and cleanliness of the stockroom.
Store Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and tidy store environment, including aisles, checkout areas, and common areas.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and staff.
- Assist with setting up promotional displays and seasonal decorations.
Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store targets and objectives.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on company policies and product knowledge.
- Support other departments as needed, including assisting with deliveries and stockroom tasks.
Sales and Promotions:
