Store Assistant

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of store activities, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

  • Assist in receiving, checking, and organizing stock in the store.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and update inventory management systems.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of goods to prevent damage and loss.

Customer Service:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Provide product information, answer inquiries, and offer recommendations to customers.
  • Handle customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

Store Operations:

  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Arrange and replenish product displays to ensure an attractive presentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of promotional displays and activities.
  • Support the store manager in day-to-day operations and administrative tasks.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve store goals and objectives.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving store performance.
  • Provide support and assistance to other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
