Key Responsibilities
- Receiving Goods: Assist with unloading deliveries and verifying that all items are received in good condition and match the delivery documentation.
- Storage: Organize and store products in designated areas, ensuring that they are easily accessible and properly labeled.
- Inventory Management: Assist with regular inventory counts and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Order Preparation: Help pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery according to customer requirements.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure the warehouse and storage areas are clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure efficient operations and timely order fulfillment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food products.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of inventory procedures and warehouse operations. Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment.
