Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company van to deliver goods to various customer locations across Ireland.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products, verifying items against delivery documents.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring they are handled with care to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Maintain delivery logs and records, including mileage, fuel, and delivery times.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing orders.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient delivery operations.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- No previous driving experience required; full training will be provided.
- Ability to navigate using GPS and follow delivery routes efficiently.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good physical condition, capable of lifting and carrying heavy items (up to 25 kg).
- Basic understanding of English to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is a plus but not essential.
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance.
