Job Description:
The Electrical Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on-site. This role requires strong technical expertise in electrical engineering, excellent project management skills, and the ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage electrical installation works at construction sites.
- Review electrical drawings, technical specifications, and project plans to ensure accuracy.
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure smooth workflow.
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to electrical systems.
- Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and update stakeholders regularly.
- Support the testing, commissioning, and handover of completed electrical systems.
- Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety guidelines on-site.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in electrical site supervision, preferably in M&E projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Registered with relevant Singapore authorities (e.g., EMA, if applicable) is an advantage.
