Key Responsibilities:
- Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, according to established recipes and guest preferences.
- Customer Service: Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guests’ preferences. Ensure a positive and engaging guest experience from start to finish.
- Bar Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar counters, equipment, and storage areas. Ensure all supplies are well-stocked and readily available.
- Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash and card transactions, process payments, and provide change as necessary. Follow all cash handling procedures and ensure the security of cash and card information.
- Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring and managing bar inventory, including tracking stock levels, ordering supplies, and conducting regular inventory checks.
- Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages. Ensure compliance with licensing laws and company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other bar and restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and a seamless guest experience. Communicate effectively to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.
- Innovation: Contribute to the development of new drink recipes and promotions, staying current with industry trends and guest preferences.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided.
- Skills: Excellent knowledge of drink mixing and garnishing techniques. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Personality: Outgoing and friendly personality with a genuine passion for providing exceptional guest experiences. Ability to engage with guests and build rapport.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy items.
