Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Medication Management: Administer medications and monitor clients for any side effects or adverse reactions.
- Meal Preparation: Plan and prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients’ dietary needs and preferences.
- Mobility Assistance: Help clients with mobility, including transferring from bed to wheelchair, walking, and exercise routines.
- Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging them in meaningful activities and conversations.
- Housekeeping: Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients.
- Health Monitoring: Observe and report any changes in clients’ health conditions to healthcare professionals and family members.
- Safety: Ensure clients’ safety by following prescribed care plans and protocols.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience as a caregiver or in a related field is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in caregiving or nursing assistance is an advantage.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Compassion: A genuine passion for helping others and providing high-quality care.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and supporting clients.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other caregivers, healthcare professionals, and family members.
