Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities for catering services. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, event planners, and corporate customers to maximize sales and revenue.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their needs and ensuring that all requirements are met. Provide personalized service to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate all aspects of catering events, including menu planning, venue setup, and logistics. Work closely with the culinary team and other departments to ensure seamless execution.
  • Contract Negotiation: Prepare and negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring all terms and conditions are clearly outlined and agreed upon. Manage client accounts and ensure timely follow-up on contracts and payments.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote catering services. Create promotional materials, manage social media campaigns, and participate in industry events to enhance visibility and attract new clients.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for catering events, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability. Monitor expenses and revenues, and provide regular financial reports to management.
  • Customer Service: Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the planning and execution of events. Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally to maintain high client satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and event details. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in catering sales or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and sales management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
