Key Responsibilities
- Safe Driving: Operate light delivery vehicles safely and responsibly, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Timely Deliveries: Ensure prompt delivery of goods to specified locations, maintaining an efficient schedule.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate courteously with customers upon delivery, ensuring a positive experience and addressing any inquiries.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the vehicle, including oil, fuel, brakes, lights, and tires, to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times, mileage, and any issues encountered.
- Load and Unload: Assist with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring they are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve any delivery issues or discrepancies in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- License: Valid Qatari driving license for light vehicles.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic conditions, excellent time management skills, and basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
- Attributes: Reliable, punctual, courteous, and able to work independently.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
