We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Gardener to join our team at Waltener SARL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing gardens and landscapes for our diverse clientele. Key Responsibilities:
- Garden Maintenance: Perform regular garden maintenance tasks, including mowing, weeding, pruning, planting, and fertilizing.
- Landscape Enhancement: Assist in the design and implementation of landscape enhancement projects, such as planting schemes, hardscaping, and garden features.
- Plant Care: Monitor plant health, diagnose issues, and apply appropriate treatments to ensure the vitality and aesthetics of the gardens.
- Seasonal Tasks: Carry out seasonal gardening tasks such as leaf clearing, mulching, winter preparation, and spring clean-ups.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide gardening advice, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Environmental Practices: Implement sustainable gardening practices, such as water conservation, organic fertilization, and integrated pest management.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to complete projects efficiently and to a high standard.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a gardener or in a similar role, with strong horticultural knowledge.
- Familiarity with gardening tools and equipment.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping design principles.
- Fluency in French or German; knowledge of Luxembourgish or English is an advantage.
- A valid driver’s license is preferred.
