Position Overview:
We are seeking hardworking and reliable Grain Farm Workers to join our team for the upcoming farming season. Key Responsibilities:
Field Operations:
- Assist with the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of grain crops.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, combines, and sprayers.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as hoeing, weeding, and cleaning grain storage facilities.
Maintenance:
- Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, including barns, storage facilities, and equipment sheds.
Quality Control:
- Monitor crop health and report any issues such as pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies to supervisors.
- Assist with the sorting, cleaning, and grading of harvested grains to meet quality standards.
Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all farm safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow environmental and sustainability practices as outlined by the farm management.
General Farm Duties:
- Assist with irrigation and drainage systems to ensure proper water management for crops.
- Participate in general farm maintenance and improvements as needed.
- Support other farm activities and tasks as directed by supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Skills:
