Responsibilities:
- Supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping team, ensuring all areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
- Assign tasks and manage work schedules for housekeeping staff, ensuring proper coverage and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure cleanliness and compliance with company standards.
- Provide training and guidance to housekeeping staff, addressing performance issues and promoting teamwork.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and a consistent guest experience.
- Address guest requests and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfactory resolutions.
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and coordinate with vendors for restocking.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Prepare reports on housekeeping operations and performance metrics for management review.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping management or supervision in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
