Job Description:
As an HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) Technician at Adecco Luxembourg, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and comfort for our clients’ facilities. Working in residential, commercial, or industrial settings, you will utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and provide timely solutions to HVAC problems.

- Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements
Your responsibilities may include:
- Installing, inspecting, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including furnaces, boilers, air handlers, and cooling towers
- Performing preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, and lubricating moving parts to extend the lifespan of HVAC equipment
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC system malfunctions, identifying the root cause of problems, and recommending appropriate repairs or replacements
- Repairing or replacing defective components such as motors, compressors, valves, and thermostats
- Testing HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and efficiency, and making adjustments as needed
- Installing and calibrating HVAC control systems and programmable thermostats
- Maintaining accurate records of service and maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and hours worked
- Providing technical support and guidance to clients and other team members as needed
- Following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar role
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and components
- Technical proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC problems
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
