This role involves overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the quality and consistency of our menu offerings, and contributing to menu development with innovative ideas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Culinary Excellence: Prepare and cook Neo-Neapolitan sourdough pizzas and other menu items to the highest standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure all dishes are prepared in accordance with our recipes and quality standards, conducting regular taste tests and evaluations.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and specials, bringing creativity and innovation to our offerings.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Chef or Cook, preferably in a pizzeria or Italian restaurant setting.
- Culinary Skills: Strong understanding of dough fermentation, pizza baking techniques, and Italian cuisine.
