Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with clinical guidelines and standards.
- Monitor patients’ health status by assessing vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition.
- Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist in medical procedures, wound care, and post-operative recovery plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-treatment care.
- Document patient records accurately and update medical charts with treatment plans and progress notes.
- Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and hospital policies.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
- Maintain a compassionate and empathetic approach while addressing patient concerns and queries.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) and possess a valid Practicing Certificate.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of relevant nursing experience, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications for medical record documentation.
