Job Description:
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional Server to join our Food & Beverage team at Radisson RED Hotel, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Abu Dhabi. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, ensuring their dining experience is pleasant and memorable. You will work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to deliver food and beverages efficiently, and ensure that all guests’ needs are met with a high level of care and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm, friendly manner.
- Take food and beverage orders, providing accurate descriptions and recommendations.
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Ensure guests’ needs are attended to throughout their meal, including refilling drinks, clearing empty plates, and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring tables are set properly and ready for guests.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate order preparation and delivery.
- Ensure that all health and safety standards are maintained in the food and beverage service area.
- Upsell menu items and suggest specials to increase sales and enhance the guest experience.
- Handle payments and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints professionally and promptly.
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and service standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in food safety or hospitality management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality or food and beverage industry is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude, with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus and the ability to make recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
