Job Responsibilities:
- Audit Planning: Assist in the development of audit plans, including defining the scope, objectives, and methodology.
- Fieldwork Execution: Conduct audit fieldwork, gather and analyze data, and document findings in accordance with established procedures.
- Internal Control Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Risk Assessment: Participate in risk assessments and help in identifying potential risks to the organization.
- Report Preparation: Prepare clear and concise audit reports, summarizing findings, and making recommendations for corrective actions.
- Follow-up: Assist in follow-up audits to ensure that recommendations have been implemented and are effective.
- Compliance: Ensure that all audit activities comply with relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to understand their processes and provide insights for enhancing operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Some experience in auditing, finance, or related fields is preferred but not required; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in French, German, or Luxembourgish is an asset.
- Certifications: Pursuit of or interest in obtaining relevant certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA) is a plus.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
