Position Overview:
Hein S.A. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Luxembourg. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of industrial machinery and equipment. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities, reducing downtime, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on industrial machinery, including routine inspections, lubrication, and cleaning, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a timely manner. Repair or replace defective components, such as motors, gears, bearings, and sensors.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce the likelihood of equipment failure and extend the lifespan of machinery.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Identify and address potential safety hazards in the workplace.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and repairs completed. Report any recurring issues to the maintenance manager for further investigation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with production and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
- Emergency Response: Respond quickly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
Qualifications:
- Technical diploma or equivalent in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards and practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in French or German is a plus.
