Role Summary

As a Patient Coordinator at Queens Medical Center, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring a seamless and positive experience for our patients. Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Interaction: Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Appointment Management: Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of medical staff time and resources.
  • Coordination: Act as a liaison between patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate communication and ensure a smooth flow of information.
  • Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate patient records, update databases, and manage paperwork associated with patient care.
  • Customer Service: Handle patient inquiries and complaints, providing solutions and escalating issues when necessary to ensure patient satisfaction.
  • Support Services: Assist patients with insurance documentation, billing queries, and other administrative tasks as required.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role is highly desirable.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is an advantage.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to empathize with patients and handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Organization: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Technology: Proficiency in using healthcare management software and other office applications.
