Role Summary
As a VIP Waiter at JUYI Restaurant & Lounge, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our most distinguished guests. Key Responsibilities
- Guest Service: Provide personalized and attentive service to VIP guests, ensuring their dining experience exceeds expectations.
- Order Management: Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar, ensuring all special requests and dietary requirements are noted.
- Presentation: Serve food and beverages with impeccable presentation and timing, adhering to the highest service standards.
- Knowledge: Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
- Ambiance: Ensure the VIP dining area is impeccably maintained, including table settings, cleanliness, and overall ambiance.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen, bar, and other service staff to ensure a coordinated and efficient service.
- Upselling: Utilize upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and contribute to revenue generation.
- Confidentiality: Respect the privacy and confidentiality of VIP guests at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Previous experience as a waiter in a high-end or fine dining restaurant is required; experience serving VIP clientele is highly desirable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Presentation: Well-groomed and presentable, adhering to the restaurant’s dress code and appearance standards.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to anticipate and respond to guest needs.
- Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
