Your responsibilities may include:
- Greeting guests upon arrival and escorting them to their tables
- Presenting menus and describing menu items, specials, and promotions
- Taking orders accurately and efficiently, paying attention to special requests and dietary preferences
- Serving food and beverages promptly and courteously, ensuring presentation meets our high standards
- Anticipating guests’ needs and providing attentive service throughout their meal
- Answering questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
- Processing payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions
- Clearing tables and resetting them for the next guests, maintaining a clean and tidy dining area
- Collaborating with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service
- Upholding hygiene and safety standards, following sanitation procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar customer service role preferred
- Passion for hospitality and a genuine desire to create exceptional guest experiences
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks as needed
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Italian or other languages is a plus
