We are seeking an experienced and organized Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse in Doha, Qatar. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the efficient and safe handling of goods. Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Oversee and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate and timely recording of stock movements and maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring efficient and timely delivery to clients and customers.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and lead the warehouse team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular safety audits and implementing safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring that all items meet the company’s quality standards and specifications.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all warehouse activities, including inventory levels, deliveries, and shipments.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance warehouse operations and efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all warehouse equipment and machinery are properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Customer Service: Collaborate with other departments and clients to address any issues or concerns related to warehouse operations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certification in logistics, warehouse management, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or a supervisory role in a warehouse setting.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and record-keeping.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
