Position Overview:
As an Accountant at Al Kubaisi Group Porto Cabin, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of the company. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely reporting to management.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement, and communicate findings to management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and company policies, and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities to facilitate audits and ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and operations, to streamline processes and improve efficiency in financial transactions and reporting.
- Stay informed about industry trends, developments, and best practices in accounting and finance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles, with a proven track record of financial management and analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
