Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting various accounting functions, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions and documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any accounting discrepancies or issues.
- Assist with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience or internship in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Eligibility to work in Luxembourg.
