Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and smoothies.
- Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and blenders.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
- Manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in the stocking and replenishment of inventory, including coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Continuously develop knowledge of coffee and other beverages to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing methods and products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality products and services.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions.
