As a Cleaner Operator, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in our production facilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and production areas.
- Waste Management: Properly dispose of waste and recyclable materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
- Equipment Operation: Operate cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers, safely and efficiently.
- Inspection and Reporting: Inspect facilities for cleanliness and safety hazards, report any issues or deficiencies to supervisors, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Compliance: Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, food safety standards, and sanitation protocols.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to spills, leaks, and other emergencies, following established procedures to minimize risks and mitigate damage.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices for cleaning and sanitation.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Safety Consciousness: Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to working safely at all times.
