As a CCTV Operator at Fairmont, you will be a crucial part of our security team, responsible for monitoring and ensuring the safety and security of the hotel’s premises.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Operating and monitoring all CCTV surveillance systems to detect any suspicious or unauthorized activities.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all incidents, observations, and activities monitored through the CCTV system.
- Coordinating with security personnel to respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies detected via CCTV.
- Conducting regular checks and maintenance of the CCTV equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Reviewing and analyzing footage to provide evidence and support investigations of security incidents.
- Ensuring all CCTV operations comply with privacy laws and regulations, maintaining the confidentiality of all recorded information.
- Assisting in training new security staff on the use and operation of CCTV systems.
- Reporting any technical issues with the CCTV system to the relevant department for immediate resolution.
- Collaborating with hotel management and other departments to enhance overall security measures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CCTV Operator or in a similar role within the hospitality or security industry.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, surveillance techniques, and security protocols.
- Excellent observational and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with security and hotel staff.
- Understanding of privacy laws and regulations related to CCTV operations.
- Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using surveillance software.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is a plus.
