Position Summary:

The Helper will assist in various manual labor tasks across different sectors, including construction, hospitality, and logistics. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, possess a strong work ethic, and have the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manual Labor: Perform a variety of manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials or equipment. Assist with the setup and teardown of work areas, events, or construction sites.
- Site Maintenance: Ensure work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the work environment.
- Equipment Handling: Operate basic tools and equipment under supervision. Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Support Services: Provide support to skilled workers such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by assisting with various tasks as needed.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading materials, supplies, and equipment. Ensure items are transported safely and securely.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory by tracking materials and supplies. Report any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.
- Compliance: Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Communicate any issues or concerns promptly.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor to support the smooth operation of the project or site.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
