Position Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Guest Service Attendants. The Guest Service Attendant plays a vital role in providing exceptional service and assistance to our guests throughout their stay at NOVOTEL. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and outgoing demeanor, and a genuine desire to ensure that every guest has a positive and memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Greet guests warmly upon arrival, assist with check-in procedures, and provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions. Process guest check-outs efficiently, handle payments, and resolve any billing inquiries or issues.
  • Room Allocation: Assign guest rooms based on room type, guest preferences, and availability, ensuring that rooms are clean, comfortable, and prepared to NOVOTEL’s standards.
  • Concierge Services: Assist guests with luggage handling, transportation arrangements, restaurant reservations, and other concierge services to enhance their stay and fulfill their needs and preferences.
  • Guest Assistance: Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, inquiries, and complaints, resolving issues or escalating them to the appropriate department or manager as needed.
  • Information Desk: Serve as a point of contact for guests seeking information or assistance, providing directions, recommendations, and assistance with local activities and services.
  • Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with guests, colleagues, and management, sharing relevant information and updates to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Safety and Security: Monitor guest activity and report any suspicious behavior or security concerns to the appropriate authorities, following hotel safety and security protocols at all times.
  • Experience: Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor and a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in guest interactions, reservations, and administrative tasks.
