Job Description:

As a Hotel Assistant Manager at POPINA SARL, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the hotel and ensuring the highest standards of guest satisfaction and service. With a focus on leadership, efficiency, and attention to detail, you will support the management team in all aspects of hotel management, including front desk operations, guest services, housekeeping, and facilities management.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting the General Manager in managing all hotel departments and functions to ensure smooth and efficient operation
  • Supervising and training staff members to deliver exceptional guest service and uphold hotel standards
  • Assisting with guest inquiries, requests, and concerns, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Monitoring hotel occupancy, revenue, and expenses, and implementing strategies to maximize profitability and efficiency
  • Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to achieve financial targets and objectives
  • Collaborating with department heads to develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards to enhance guest experience and employee performance
  • Ensuring compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including health and safety protocols and legal requirements
  • Overseeing housekeeping operations to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hotel
  • Assisting with sales and marketing initiatives to promote the hotel and attract new guests
  • Representing the hotel in meetings, events, and industry associations to build relationships and enhance the hotel’s reputation
  • Assisting with special projects and initiatives as assigned by the General Manager
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in hotel management or hospitality management required
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on guest service and satisfaction
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
