Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Indoor Salesman to join our dedicated team. The Indoor Salesman will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service, driving sales, and maintaining the overall presentation of the store. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for chocolates and flowers, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and assist customers as they enter the store. Provide detailed information about products, answer questions, and offer recommendations to meet customer needs and preferences.
  • Sales: Actively engage with customers to drive sales and achieve store targets. Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of all chocolates and floral products, including ingredients, preparation methods, and care instructions. Stay updated on new products and promotions.
  • Store Presentation: Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing. Arrange displays to highlight featured products and seasonal offerings.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves, conducting inventory counts, and reporting low stock levels to the Store Manager.
  • Cash Handling: Process transactions accurately using the store‚Äôs point-of-sale system. Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, ensuring correct change and receipts are provided.
  • Customer Feedback: Collect and relay customer feedback to management. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth store operations. Assist with training new staff as needed.
  • Promotions: Support store promotions and marketing activities. Distribute promotional materials and inform customers about ongoing sales and special events.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certification in sales or customer service is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in retail sales or a customer service role. Experience in a luxury retail environment is an advantage.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Personal Attributes: Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused. Passionate about chocolates and flowers. Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
