Job Description:
As an Industrial Fitter at Adecco Luxembourg, you will play a crucial role in the assembly, installation, and maintenance of industrial machinery and equipment. - Experience: 1-2 Basic Requirements
Your responsibilities may include:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Assembling, fitting, and aligning mechanical components and parts to construct industrial machinery and equipment
- Installing and commissioning new machinery and equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Performing preventive maintenance tasks such as lubricating parts, replacing worn components, and adjusting settings to prevent breakdowns and malfunctions
- Troubleshooting machinery and equipment issues, identifying root causes of problems, and recommending solutions
- Repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systems to restore machinery to proper working condition
- Conducting tests and inspections to ensure that machinery meets performance and safety standards
- Collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other team members to coordinate work activities and achieve project objectives
- Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment specifications
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Industrial Fitter or in a similar mechanical fitting role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and other equipment
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and manufacturing processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and technical specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
