We are currently seeking dependable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team at various locations across Ireland. This role is essential for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers. As a Delivery Driver, you will represent Sysco Ireland, providing exceptional service and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport products to various customer locations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders, verifying products against delivery documents.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns professionally.
- Load and unload products, ensuring they are handled with care to maintain quality and safety standards.
- Maintain delivery logs and records, including mileage, fuel, and delivery times.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing orders.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient delivery operations.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- No previous delivery driving experience required; full training will be provided.
- Ability to navigate using GPS and follow delivery routes efficiently.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Good physical condition, capable of lifting and carrying heavy items (up to 25 kg).
- Basic understanding of English to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a delivery or driving role is a plus but not essential.
- Familiarity with food safety and handling procedures.
